A friend from our club will run a kind of "MadMax"-racing track game soon and asked every participant to bring along his own car. I finished mine a couple of days ago and tried some new weathering techniques on it. It came out quite nice, I think ...
The model started as an old Grenadier resin kit from their Future Warriors range, I added the gun and bazooka from my spares and a driver, also from Grenadier, and exchanged the rather silly looking and far too small wheels with some from other model car kits.
Had real fun with it ...

Benbow, that is a triumph!
(As opposed to a Triumph  )
The tyres are very special - love the yellowy dusty finish. So much better than shades of grey.

As Captain Blood said, a different take on the weathering, but vey effective.
A nice swap on the rear wheels aswell.
Definately one to refer to as I contunue with my own Mad Max vehicles.

I find the wheels a little bit to large, but hey, in a postapocalyptic desert you have to use whatever you find.
THe weathering, as mentioned before, is superb, as is the driver

I agree with the rest really excellent looking mini!! Really like the Woody Woodpecker decals.
I'd also like to peak at the rules if possible.

Those tires look alot like mine did the spring here in Georgia...dang pollen :x . Are the rear tires from a 1/25th kit? Overall great looking racer, would love to see some of the others.

That's grand - and the driver has a beautifully aggressive look too. Terrific job
