Got my shinsengumi order through and am currently cleaning them up (not much cleaning to do to be honest) but I thought I'd do a little conversion of a leader figure, and here he is.




It's a Perry samurai head and a plastic Perry ACW pistol arm. Hopefully just different enough to look the part 

I'm going to be painting some of my own stuff this weekend and he will be part of that (along with the shinsengumi).
