I've done nothing new the last couple of days, except assemble and putty stuff - mostly because I was working on the Avolak Nightgaunts, and dropped one (but in part because of being ill again) which of course broke at the thinnest part of the tail - I've FINALLY been able to repair it - and am in the process of re-sculpting the bottom part of the tail.

But I have started, this evening - the Pickman Ghoul . . . . . . .

Theres so much I want to do with these, they've kinda "taken over" my hobby time (just like the Call of Cthulhu RPG took over my Gaming for about 18 Months when it first came out all those years ago).

Today I did my post, took my Daughter to the Hospital (nothing too problematic, just a Teeth thing - lack of calcium is causing a few problems) - didn't really have the time (or the quiet) to paint - managed a little hobby stuff, preparing "the altar" and I assembled my Haunted Well too.

@avolakia   So when is Glaaki coming up? I was kind of glad that this was not one of the GOO in Crhulhu wars kickstarter, as knew that you have this somewhere in the pipeline (and would be interesting to see this painted up in by Van Helsing, I like this thread)

"There, on a tombstone of 1768 stolen from the Granary Burying Ground in Boston, sat a ghoul which was once the artist Richard Upton Pickman"
OK, it's not an EXACT representation of the Pickman Ghoul I know (as he was described as "naked and rubbery" in the story) but for me it captures the "feel" of the Character perfectly.

I Love this miniature, it clearly shows the fact he (it?) was a person once upon a time.

Not my best work (sorry) I was really ill last night, as it was likely I would be sleeping - I just plowed on through - he's come out a little greener than I would have preferred as well.

Next up - its either going to be the Nightgaunts, or the Formless Spawn . . . .

The green looks good. Have you seen the colour human skin can turn when someone is ill?

Keep up the good work, but also look after yourself.

Back at it (after a break because of ill health amongst other "real world" crap) - I've renamed the thread as its become more encompassing in my own mind.

As I posted in the "The Lovecraftian Painting Circle!" - "Offspring Of The King In Yellow" - I've been told by the Ebay seller I got him of, "he" was produced by Dark Platypus games (if anyone can correct that information, please let me know) - I came across this little blighter on Ebay, and pounced with a "Buy it Now" straight away!

I've also painted this little Idol from Copplestone Castings :D

AND re-based my Avolak Castings Randolph Carter and Y'Golonac to be more "game friendly) in height/stability - RUN CARTER RUN!
