Look past the colours Kevin Dallimore has chosen, and the relative chunkiness of Steve Saleh's sculpt compared to the Crooked Dice "Vortex adventurer", and you may notice that this figure is dressed like, and has the same hairstyle as, the Eighth Doctor in The Night of the Doctor:

"Time Rider", from Steve Saleh's "Lucid Eye" range for North Star: http://www.northstarfigures.com/prod.php?prod=6141

Reference for OOP official minis.

Boardgamegeek has an overview:
http://boardgamegeek.com/wiki/page/Doctor_Who_Miniatures
They've missed one: although most of the Eaglemoss figurines are 1/21, they also produced a subscription-only model of the Dalek Emperor from "The Parting of the Ways" at 1/41 scale.

The Citadel range, produced in 1986, at The Stuff of Legends:
http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=67463.0

The FASA range, cast by RAFM, from 1986, also at The Stuff of Legends:
http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~tpope/sol/fasa/doctor-who.html
Note that this is essentially the same set of figures as the Citadel range, minus Mike Yates and the plastic Cybermen and Daleks, but plus packs of "Player Character Time Lords" and "Temporal Marauders" which are not based on any characters from the TV series.  The other difference is that the Citadel versions were on slotta bases (except for the plastics), while the FASA versions had cast-on bases.

The Character Options Doctor Who Micro-Universe range, listed at Doctor Who Toys.net:
http://doctorwhotoys.net/microuniverse.htm

Not all of the Harlequin Miniatures range is still available at Black Tree Design.  Here is the Lost Minis Wiki listing of the full range:

It's probably a sin to make so many consecutive posts to the same thread, but here we go …

The latest issue of Doctor Who Adventures (no 352, dated 13-26 August 2014) comes with a box of the now familiar plastic Dalek, blobby Cyberman, Ood, Silurian, Silence, Sontaran and Weeping Angels figures, but adds a "Cold War" Ice Warrior and a "Day of the Doctor" Zygon.

Unfortunately, they are titchy - Skaldak towered over the Doctor, but at 29mm floor-to-top-of-head, the Ice Warrior figure barely comes up to Tweedy Mattison's eyes.  The Zygon is also 29mm tall to the top of its elongated pointy head.

While looking (unsuccessfully) for Xulu Spider Robots, I found that Reviresco is selling 4 Rutans (under that very name) for US$4:

http://www.tin-soldier.com/critters.html

As a memo, I've also seen Tyranid spore mines effectively used as flying Rutans (as seen in the BBC game The Gunpowder Plot).

Personally I think you can get away with the Zygon. Shame about the Ice Warrior.

Has anyone tried the Tardis Bobblehead

Looking at it, it seems in scale with Clix figures (average scale of most of my figs).

Would have also worked well with the Doctor Who Micro Universe figs
http://doctorwhotoys.net/microuniverse.htm
Looking for a set of rules that adaptable for different genres.

A few more.

CP Models "Mature plant thing" will make a nice late-stage Krynoid.

http://www.cpmodelsminiatures.co.uk/CP%20MODELS%2028MM%20SCI-FI%20-%20ALIENS.htm (scroll down past the earlier-stage plant men - who will also make a decent basis for blobby Axons).

Reaper "Telephone box".

http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/80037/latest/80037

CNC Workshop "Street Scenery 2" includes a Police Box.

http://www.miniaturescenery.com/ProductPage.asp?Code=STRT2STRSC

Recent Crooked Dice models include "Army Section" (usable as Captain Yates and Sergeant Benton), "Chronal Commandos" (useable as Time Lord soldiers), "General Gordon" (usable as Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart), "Scientific Advisors" (usable as Kate Stewart and Osgood), all at http://www.crooked-dice.co.uk/wp/product-category/02-heroes-and-allies/, and "Plastons" (usable as Autons) at http://www.crooked-dice.co.uk/wp/product-category/03-villains-and-monsters/.

As seen here http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=81745.0;topicseen , Crooked Dice are producing Soldiers in 1960s/1970s British uniforms with berets and SLRs (with Sterling SMGs to follow).  These would work for UNIT from mid-1970s stories from "Terror of the Autons" to "The Seeds of Doom", or as regular British army troops as seen in "The War Machines", "The Invasion", "The Claws of Axos" or "Invasion of the Dinosaurs".

Has something happened?  Many of the previously available unofficial-but-close figures have vanished with nary a word.
