Classic BSG minis?
« on: May 08, 2008, 09:18:16 AM »
Hi everyone,

I've been working on a set of skirmish rules for classic-era Battlestar Galactica for a while now, using LoTOW as a basis. I managed to get hold of some 'not-Cylons' (from Eureka, I think) on eBay, but I'm stuck for the other minis. I'll be playing 28mm.

Specifically, I need something to represent Colonial Warriors: http://www.fluency.paintedtarget.org/bsg/index.html  and Ovions http://www.fluency.paintedtarget.org/bsg/index.html

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Have you considered using Hawke & Dove from Heresy as the basis of Colonial Warriors? You could head-swap a few to get a variety and the guns are seperate too.

They look fairly spot on costume wise.

Maybe add some big buckles to the jacket and longer hair for Apollo and Starbuck.

If you take the forward sight post off the "Death Ray" it would look good for a BSG laser pistol too.

I'd love to see a pic of the Cylon minis you're found.

Those look great! Thanks for the tip - that's a fantastic find. And a good suggestion by Earther about the gun.

No pics yet, but I'm working on it.

Still no luck finding Ovion proxies either. I'm also looking for Borellian Nomen http://www.fluency.paintedtarget.org/bsg/index.html if anyone has any ideas...

Thanks again :)
