Fantastic looking stuff here! Love the tentaces, they tentacles already reminded me of Day of the Tentacle even before I saw the last picture.

Morning all. This week appears to be a werewolf week.

This was the Forgeworld event model from 2012 and is an alternative pose of their Skin Wolves. Sadly it costs a small fortune to get one these days on ebay...

He's not on my typical transparent bases because he needed to have the rock to stand on. Floating rock syndrome is not good for you kids! I've also purposefully kept it free of any era specific elements so he can be used as a generic werewolf throughout the ages

To give a sense of scale, here's the werewolf going up against some new agents, which I'll show off tomorrow. He is over twice as tall as a standard 28mm model

That's a top-notch paintjob; I like it very much.

The sculpt is good, alhough I'm not keen on the buckle. At that size he'd need to be the leader of pack, I feel. Not someone to meet in Mayfair!

To be fair, it is a GW(ish) product, so that buckle is very understated with only one skull

I think he was supposed to be a pack leader to go with their regular pack. He came with an alternative left hand that has an empire corpse in, but that would then tie the model to fantasy or renaissance era games... or a rampage at a renaissance fair, which could be a fun scenario now I think on it ;)

That is a great choice for a damn mean and scary wolfie!
Nice work on it to.
It should terrify the opposition.
 :-* :-*

...... some new agents, which I'll show off tomorrow.

Rozzers!
Looking forward to seeing them.

As promised, Mi57 have the backing of the local constabulary (Crooked Dice figures). Sadly they forgot to tell them to bring their guns...

The poor bobbies, having narrowly escaped from the werewolf yesterday find themselves wandering amongst some statues... at least they look like statues (again, Crooked Dice). Peter swears that one of them wasn't there a second ago

... and then the bobbies were gone. No-one saw them leave and they never made it back to the station at the end of the shift... they were just. Gone.

Oh god! I know what they are! Whatever you do... don't refresh the page!

Bloody great colour choices on those Old Bill.
Nice figures too.

I must do mine....eventually.
A setting in Blighty certainly demands that the local fuzz be represented.... ::)

Bloody great colour choices on those Old Bill.

They are also destined for 7TV, so the actual colours should in no way be truly accurate as 70s TV never got anything accurate ;)

It does indeed. Gene, Annie and Sam Tyler are also in the painting pile, so we can have a Life on Mars/Cthulhu crossover ;)

I've been reading the Russian source book for Achtung! Cthulhu recently, so decided to finish off some more Russian troops to thrown at the horrors summoned by Black Sun (a secret German cult/division)

Two more LMGs

Eight SMGs to add some extra kick to things, one of them is also carrying a molotov

Three more riflemen to add to the 15 already painted

A sniper

And some poor soul who only got a molotov when the unit ran out of rifles

I've got about 3 weeks left on a painting challenge, at which point I'll be switching over to starting to make some spooky terrain (or indeed just... some terrain)

So, once again... a massive gap in posting. Since the mad burst of painting activity near the start of the year, everything sort of died a death as summer came along and the gardening and house took away spare time. I have, however, managed to squeeze in a few new additions to the monster pool for Mi57 to combat.

I decided to use some historicals that were kicking around to make up some ghosts. The aim here is to use casualties from across the generations to build up a very mixed bag of ghosts... including mangling some to show cause of death
