Removing the bases is easy, if a little time consuming, with a large wood file from B&Q :)

Great thread and some lovely painting. Rather worringly I am getting more and more interested in Strange Aeons. I'd get no response from my group though, I may as well suggest we play Quidditch  :-[

At least you have a group to play with :)
I will be trying SA solo for a while until I can try and persuade anyone nearby to play

A fair point!  :) There's only a few of us but we at least get the occassional game in.

How do you find Strange Aeons for solo play and how many figures do you reckon you need per side?

Personally I've not tried it yet, but there seem to be plenty of others who do play solo. Now I actually have an agent for Mi57, I may well try an very small game over the weekend

Now the sun is coming in the front of the house, rather than into my office, I've managed to get a reasonable photo of the Four A cultists from Mason's little delivery yesterday. I'm still not overly happy with the photos, but they will do until the lightbox can be set up again.

These will go with my cult leader and help him raise the dead to take over the village of Lower Warbling Bottom.

Looking good, mate.
I like the blue flesh tone, that works really well!
 :-*

Good to see them getting painted, as I have had them sitting around for over a year, and that is not fair to such nice sculpts.
You have done a good job on them.

Thanks again! It's actually quite interesting getting a bag of mystery models and then lining them up to paint straight away :)

Not a huge fan if octo-headed cultists in general, but that is some nice paintwork! Keep it coming!

It's been a bit quiet in ET Towers recently as we're in the middle of packing stuff for our big move, but I did have a blitz through another tray of Zombicide zombies over the last two nights. Sorry about the awful photo, this was just a quick snap to show some progress is occurring...

This tray includes a lot painted in more 1930s/40s colours so I've now got a pretty solid shambling horde for SA. I just need to varnish these and re-base on the clear bases, so I'll get a better photo once it stops drizzling and lets me use the mysterious outdoors place. I'm looking forward to getting a garage so I can do varnishes and undercoats in any weather.
