Woe betide the one eating his morning porridge when he reads your post.  :`

Stuff is bloody hard to clean up.
Television is rather a frightening business. But I get all the relaxation I want from my collection of model soldiers. P. Cushing

Sorry. I shall restrain myself from making comments about environmental conditions until *after* your breakfast time in future ;)

It's just the volcanoes; I sincerely do not wish to become a hazard to an otherwise free flowing and creative discourse.

Any discourse is good discourse.

Speaking of discourse, rather than continue to hijack the Lovecraftian Painting thread here are some more pictures of the Qu-Sh-Ug from Pure Evil Miniatures. The model comes with loads of tentacles designed to come out of it's mouth in a very Mignola fashion, but I wanted to try making one into a tail instead. This was a kickstarter late last year that hasn't yet received a public release. Fingers crossed we will see one soon as I want a second one to add *all* the tentacles to! I kinda wish I'd bought two at the time...

To answer Argonor's question about painting those scales, it was multiple drybrushes and then a few targeted washes with browns, purples and in some places greens and blacks to get the contrast and detail. The sculpting and casting in this is amazingly crisp and puts quite a few resin models to shame. Finecast I'm really looking at you here!

Quite like that w/o the mouth-full-of-tentacles it was sculpted with. Very menacing. Great blue, too!

This is a great figure! Any chance of a picture of it next to a 'human sized' figure?

There sure is. Poor Sergeant Hopkins isn't quite sure the sten is going to be enough to take this thing down... where is a PIAT team when you need them? Or a Sherman?

YEAH! I had no idea. That is perfect. For what I don't know, but mayhem is certainly on the agenda....

Feck!!!

He is a big boy!
Bigger than my first impression.

Not big enough to warrant getting a Nun involved, though....... ;)

Sadly I have no idea. I have just messaged Damien to see if/when there will be a general release.

Yeah, he's a big beast. I will probably use him as a Godling with Swallow Whole. His mouth is certainly big enough
