(Army Painters) Future Rebel Army
« on: July 29, 2013, 02:13:57 PM »
Here's my first squad for my future rebel army which will contain alien mercenaries, scavengers, wastelanders, deserted police forces, slum militias and much more!

Squad overview

Cyborg Heavy Weapons

Cyborg light weapons

Cyborg light weapons

Scavengers with harpoon rifles (one of these three was painted up earlier think the one shooting)

Two Wastelanders and one deserted cyborg police enforcer

Heavy support armored suit (just based)

Still wondering what to use for base finish as I want them to match my other based miniatures (which also still lack static grass or clumps)

Cheers next up will probably be a deserted police squad using EM4 miniatures.

Thanks for the nice comments. The cyborgs are from Forlorn Hope Games and a review of the can be found on my blog: http://wargameterrain.blogspot.be/2012/06/forlorn-hope-games-skeletal-robots.html

Cheers, must start painting the next squad  ;D

Lovely work so far - I keep meaning to do 'Sci-fi Rebels' of some sort, but never seem to quite get there. I look forward to seeing your take one them!

Thanks for all the comments,

@Blackwolf: Those Mak suits were a kind gift from an Australian Laf'er can't remember the giver though but again thanks! (have three other tucked away somewhere  ???)

@Lazy-Dragon: would like to see how you gather your rebel army!  :D

@Dr Falkenhayn: I quite like the EM4 miniatures crisp details and fun to paint although a bit small. Which miniatures do you mean with the Legion of Steel stuff, is it the blue robot?

Cheers

Good project, I have quite a few of those figures myself. I always like to see how another person approaches them :)

I wasn't aware there is a MaK in that size. Cool.
