Lost World Mercenaries
« on: May 11, 2008, 05:48:22 PM »
Foloowing on from the Dixon Dahomey range thread, I finally got round to choosing uniform colours for my mercenary force. The first ones off the desk are here:

They've turned into quite a study in different shades of brown, as I wanted to stay away from schemes that would be recognisable as belonging to a particular country. I think I've pulled it off, but would like your opinions.  ???

Also, as a bit of fun, I painted up Corporal Jenkins and his use of the prototype Dinosaur Infiltration Suit:

And just for LowtarDog, everyone's favourite half naked savage, Wor Tadge:

Comments and crits useful as always.  :)

Thank you everybody!  :)

Grimm, in case you were wondering, the dino-suit is from Eureka's Pax Limpopo range. I was tempted to paint it purple, like Barney.  :D

The Infiltration Suit is wonderful.  :)

It's the ACME label that really makes it.

Excellent. And I thought there was only Shaftsbury's dinosaur suit in that range, so educational to! 8)

Love the touch of humour, all we need is Road Runner, and a very nice bit of brushmanship too.
