The space needed is Not that Bad, I also only have a small table and no dedicated room  :(

I am making two 5 mm foamboards each  with a size of 80cm x80cm, these are devided into 40mm squares, giving me 400 squares per board, more than enough space for atleast 10 buildings plus roads. Most buildings will be 6x5 or 9x7 squares.

And if my plans work out I can lay them flat due to using magnets!! (still in wip Phase).
If not One Box will Hold them all.

In this scale I can still fit about 80-100 Zombies on the board, and instead of 20 vehicles I can still use 5-7 plus odds and ends.

Of course you can't go for Mega hordes in this scale, but it looks quite impresive, and with my old eyes I can see them better  lol

Cheers

I´ve got my first 6 x 3D Renderings finished and my first 3d Printed figure... :D

100% better than the first trial...

Now I´m getting a couple of trial prints done in other materials, see if we can get more/smoother detail in there..

Sorry that the print photo is so crap...I will try and give it a black wash tonite at home, and then take another.

any resemblance to characters, living, (un)dead or fictional, is purely coincidental.

@ mindfad - not shapeways, but a local 3D company. We are still experimenting with the processes at the moment, but we are getting there.

Weapons came out ok (as you can see)..but the scale of the Cricket bat, the Katana shaft and the baseball bat were a bit off. These have been corrected and
are going out for the next trial print next week.

I have finally got a good 3D print for one of the survivors, and I slapped a bit of paint on her.

It´s still not 100% how I want it, but I´m getting there  :)

C & C welcome

Horror Clix does a 50 foot Ex Girlfreind. She would size up nicely for a zombie or maybe even a survivor.

um, how tall is 1/35 scale in millimeters?  I mean to top of head, and to eye level.
