Top roof structure done. Railings started and front stairs done. The stairs are magnetically held in place so I can remove them and place a dock there instead.

Definitely looks too much like quality new construction at this point. Something will have to be done about that.

Thanks for looking.
Cheers

This is looking better and better.
I must not get distracted by it! I must finish what I have started!

Thanks for the inspirational pics!
I can't wait to see it finished.

Exactly!!!! I found myself checking for wood to make the baseboard yesterday! I must finish the other projects first! I have no discipline when I see great ideas like this.

Thanks all.

@Mad Lord Snapcase and Amalric. It's just PAYACK! See next post.

Some more work done. Roof done except may add a small stovepipe. Side railings are done.

The ramp is removable so it can be replaced by a dock section.

First dock section (of many planned) which is still WIP, can replace the front stairs, and will connect with magnets.

Started detail work on the inside but no pics yet.

Cheers

I blame Mad Lord Snapcase, Amalric, Hammers, Michi, Eric the Shed, in fact anyone, and you know who you are, who posted fantastic ship builds on this forum for distracting me successfully. Must avoid the Pikes, Muskets and Flouncy Shirts board as I hear they have lots of ships there too.

Broke down and prepped the templates for a whole bunch of pulpy ships as seen below.

Clockwise 3 Junks, 6 sampans, a sailboat, a patrol boat, a steam launch and two other general utility boats and at the bottom a small freighter. The freighter is in three parts (or will be) for storability/transportability and will lock together with magnets, slots and tabs. The middle deck section is optional to allow for a bigger or smaller boat as needed.

Gotta have a sub (this is pulp after all) so I started this one yesterday based on Type 2 Uboat. WELL...have one sub gotta have a bigger one too. So started the template work for another based on a type VII. Yes, what crazy stuff is he on is what I'm thinking too. Already have too much in progress. Expect only occasional updates only as they occur.

Cheers

Very cool, I love the removable dock idea.
a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.
