This really is some wonderful stuff! The kind of post I don't need to see while I wait for my first Flintloque figures to arrive!

Will there be more?

Hi Christian,

Thanks for the kind comment, and "yes" there will be more.

I have just been looking at Alternative Armies September offer and will be hopefully padding out my units with some civilians - Elf ladies and Orc camp followers are all very tempting.

I have to admit we enjoyed ourselves playing M&T with the flintloque figures I am seriously considering selling some of my unpainted FIW minis!

The Orc Camp Followers were my first Flintloque figures!

Oh and the Elf ladies were sculpted by me!

Orc camp followers and elf ladies arrived over the weekend - lovley sculpts, Rob, full of character and I'm looking forward to painting them. I will change the hand cart wheels for some less "Rustic" ones.

I have also managed to get the first batch of "Imperial Dragons" painted - the foot troops. Photos to follow.

I just purchased my first Flintloque figures last week so I thought I would throw this post back on top of the post pile. Anyone play the regular Flintloque rules? Gavin for Alternate Armies just sent me a copy of the lite version.(He seemed like a good guy who is easy to deal with. His response time and follow up was wonderful.) It looks like having more then 10 figures on a side could get complicated? Has an anyone played this game regularly? I'd like to play this game with some of my middle school students.
Ramirez, the terrain and the figures you put together look awesome!  I would love to see more.

Hi there, Bloodysword,

Thanks for the encouragement; we are planning a couple of games in the future, once I've painted some of the recent purchases. Might get something posted early in the New Year.

I have got the regular flintloque rules, but to my shame, haven't played them yet.

As the proud owner of an insanely large Flintloque Collection (at least one of every code that was made in the old days), I too hope that someday I will climb that particular lead mountain!

For me, heaven would be a wall of cabinets filled with painted Flintloque miniatures...

I used to play once a month but my regular opponent switched jobs and apparently only has time for Warmaster (BOOOOO!!!) so I was kicked to the curb. I used to post reports regularly but I've played the current edition quite a bit and agree that when it climbs over 10-12 figures a side the rules get a bit sticky but it is a skirmish game.

I mostly finished a Slaughterloo undead group but after I was left a wargame widow my enthusiasm towards painting those Zombiski Cossacks kind of faltered.

I used to enjoy those game reports of yours Two Gun Bob. Hopefully sometime you'll be able to get back to playing Flintloque regularly.
