Slim, magnetized ellipse bases tutorial

We were on the topic of the shortcomings of slottas (http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=57916.0) and I thought I might turn briefly to a more encouraging topic, that is the success I've had basing up my D&D collection using ellipse bases Ian/Geronimo of Fenris Games cut for me from ply.

Brilliant. I can see many uses for this, compared to trying to cut odd shaped bits of magnetic sheet for (e.g.) waggons, draft animals etc. Thanks for posting.
Measure with a micrometer, mark with chalk, cut with an axe, hammer to fit, paint to match!

Off topic, I'm afraid, but I had to give a shout-out to the frost giant.  That was one of my very first miniatures.  Ah, good days.......
