Which? I would prefer the Emin Pascha rescue expedition. Read Peter Forbath' 'Der letzte Held', a good fictional description of the events during the Mahdist revolt.

At the moment I'm preparing my own Emin Pasha Relief Expedition. Mine is the Carl Peters one, which mostly involves shooting Masai rather than Mahdists.
