Japanese officer on Mars and some Red Martians.
« on: September 04, 2013, 09:43:57 PM »
This is the first of a group of miniatures for my Japanese Mars Invasion Force. He is an officer from the very nice Boshin Wars miniature range from Bac Ninh Miniatures. When they release infantry packs I'll be sending some more troops to Mars, but for now I have the officers.

I really like these few figures Bac Ninh has released.  This one has a great paint job.  :)

  :D lol

Anyway, he inspired to me to start this project. I'll send my troops to another Mars region. And I'll be using his Martians as enemies or allies.

Lovely paint job, lovely detail in the face and a very nice blue for the uniform. Had not crossed my mind that those Bac Ninh miniatures were ideal for VSF, now you have pointed it out it is of course obvious. Look forward to seeing your other officers as they get painted up.
