While I'm also not a huge fan of the cartoony style...if I look at it as something intended for 10-12 year olds it makes more sense. I'm still waiting anxiously - kickstarter begins in 2 days. Hope to see what all is planned.

I'm REALLY looking forward to this! As long as they don't trample all over everyone's memories of Heroquest and totally change it! Fingers crossed!....in fact eyes, legs and ears crossed as well!!

This may be the first Kickstarter I try!!

- Classic game board plus modular sections.

- 15 new optional heroes in Kickstarter!!!

- Bad guys will be Morcar and Zargon, each one with its own miniature.

- Prices:
$89 Basic box set.
$110 basic box set plus 15 new heroes with their game cards.
$150 basic box set plus 15 new heroes with their game cards plus all the strech-goals (including Morcar and Zargon).

It certainly does! HeroQuest as with many was my way into the hobby and I have that nostalgic love for it. I hope they do it justice.

Gamezone's fellas are waiting for green light to launch their project which, as far as I know, depends on the minds behind kickstarter.

I'd bet for monday.
