*deleted a bunch of stuff of why it would be unwise for Ramshackle to take this on, kewl, but unwise, but got sidetracked at work, now look at him go...*

A couple times for original CW, I used micro machines as they were close to the cardboard pieces in size; you could pretty much use them on the original maps, and the tabletop scale was a wee bit closer to sensible. Never tried them, but did assume the Thunderroad pieces [Gaia knows I have enough] would mesh well enough, at least, the buggies and the autogyros. How awesome would that be!

Hot Wheels et. al have had battle cars at various time; for many, you have to lose the oversized-just-silly circular saw on a stick and the like [Really, a fist-shaped ram?], but then they can look impressive. Even Tonka did a few, but we're talking, what, 60-100mm scale? :D

Regarding 20mm bikes I would want to get the following

Male/female Punk style riders driving mad max type bikes
Female Leather Clad riders with sport bikes.
male/female uniformed riders riding police bikes.

Add in Side car options with a crew fired gun or a remote control gun fired gun.

Trike with rear remote controlled gun and a quad bike with different weapon load outs and we are cooking with gas.

as for integrated base I don't like them but if you did a thin enough one that could be removed it would work for me.

thx for coming to our thread and listening to our ideas.

LGW

And please, PLEASE PLEASE  make sure riders are NOT trying to fire/hold/swing weapons with their throttle hand/right hand.   It really needs to be on the handle bars.

Get the bikers right and I'll buy a slew of them.  Get 'em wrong and I'll wait for the guy that gets them right.

yup I 2nd CaptJake about the weapons.

Quote

this will be cool also I am wanting some buggy type vehicles as well with driver and Rear gunner. Hot Wheels has the buggy but no gunner or driver.

I want to make a Complete Mad Max type biker Gang with Buggy and Quad bike as special units.

If you do go down the 20mm path I'd be keen for some miscasts of them as well for terrain.

Cheers

Found another one, its small, the rules take a bit of searching (there is a topic on BGG with a link) Anyhow its free and apparently a post wwII racing game with a stalker like theme? Anyhow I am in need of some sleep so I will check this tomorrow but thought some of you might want to check it out.

SOunds like cops might be a good start. Makinf a sensible bike with everything in proportion and neat would be a good starter for me, and seems like a poular idea. Chips?

Or more modern?

or futurey?

I think a selection of all three would be great,
Chips bikes, modern and futuristic as well would be great for the police..

And have the typical biker gang type bikes for the Mad MAx theme

Sport Bikes and off road bikes for generic gangs.

We have one of these:

As you can see, they make very cool cop bikes.   And they are good on and off road too (dual sport bikes).   It handles great though the center of gravity is a little high (making it harder for short riders like my wife).   Very quick.   Much quicker than our Goldwing Trike.

Definitely not as much of a beast as my ride though.  ;)

New Zealand Police Bike from 2006 so a bit out dated but you get the picture. we don't really use bikes in New Zealand any more:

I found an interesting CAR game on Kickstarter but its not a COMBAT game
I still think you guys would like to see it as its pretty cool set up and you use Hot Wheels or Match box size cars. Kids of all ages to learn to play it. and who says you can't use futuristic type vehicles.

well you guys check it out I already pledge as its going to the kids as a extra xmas present or belated depending if it stays on track for a December release.

Ok, read through the rules....wow.  I LOVE when a tired mechanic is reinvested!  The card charting as a unified move is great stuff!  I see me even getting the little lay to play as well!

Now I REALLY cant wait for my set to come!

I got the bundle from wargames vault and I must say its quite good value that way. I can print for next to nothing at my school so I might decide to print out my own copy some time soon. With the inclusion of the not so passive aggressive cards pretty much all special weapon I could want and a few new idea's are possible. I can very much see myself modelling some cars to fit these rules now. Especially with the car creation program on the website.  :D

Awesome game guys, glad that you were pushing it like you did as its far more complex then a first glance suggests.
