Really nice.  I can see the squid motif in its construction.

This is my boomstick!

Great scratch-build.

Thank you for posting the images.

Now I want to see it painted.

I've been delinquent in reading the graphics, but a Google shows you've caught the spirit. Well done!

Could easily double as an aether ship, as well, even a VSF Battletech dropship, with those swinging doors.  :D

just taken afew scale photos of the nautilus the figures are 28mm.

the main body is made out of a piece of packaging, the front part is a pop bottle, the whale eyes is the tops off ink cartridges,  the tentacles are lego tubing, with wire added in the top 2 for flexibility, the whole thing is covered in gloss magazines which has been riveted with a pen.

In spite of Flickr trying to make both me and my browser seasick, it was a LOVELY walkaround!

Very inspiring; thanks so much!

Hey just a quick update its being a slow process deciding how to get the colours rite, I painted the whale part in dark brown spray paint then went over it with copper spray paint trying to get the balance right, or to leave it dark brown & go over it with a copper wash  ::) any advice is welcome
