With the withdrawal of the Bronze Age range Tin Man minis are the only 'Barsoomian humans' ones available (Parroom Station / Space:1889 Martians are non-humans) and very good they look
(though slightly converted Raging Heroes  Fantasy (NOT Sci-Fi) Blood Vestals could provide a fitting Maiden Guard for Tin Man Princess Livia).

Whoa Nelly! A bit of mis-information there, eh?!   :-[

Somebody was spreading this rumour on TMP as well.  ???

Bronze Age has retired some of their older sculpts with the over-thick bases. But they are being replaced by new sculpts. The new range isn't [yet] as big as it was but the new sculpts have been online since the summer.

They should be around 30mm suit well with the other barsoom like models from Bronze Age, and other retro scifi miniatures like Hydra miniatures for instance (sadly I forgot to rank a Hydra model)

Addition of Hydra fig would have been appreciated, but this is excellent! Thanks so much!

Now, if anyone cares to point me to comparison shots tween not-Tharks, I can cogitate on how to mix and match. Old, young, healthy, death's door, etc.

Well, was the impression I had, not just with recent posts, and glad I am to have it quelled. I've whined elsewhere how much I regret failing to let my bro' know I wanted his before he sold them. And, they were already painted[well]!

Still, unless you're in the antipodes (Utah, right?), we're yet in 'the summer', so still news.

Well, I don't have them here, but the Bronze Age and Tin Man versions of them are very different in size and bulk. I would rate the Tin Man version a slim teenager compared to a hulking Bronze Age adlult.

Thanks, my recollection as well, but comparison of memories is a dangerous thing.  ;)

Finally a KS that understands my needs.  I'll be in for the "Every Woman" pledge level as soon as payday rolls around.  Between Tank Girl on Frothers and Akkies SF minis I'm blowing my budget.
This is my boomstick!

Spread the word chaps!  Only 13 days and this is only about 25% funded.  I need bosomy Martian women to paint.

I'd been holding out, so I just threw in for the couple I'd like.

For the add-ons, do we just email later which ones we want? I put in $25, for the "Two ladies" and another $5 for Rocketman.

The international shipping is really rough though. $15. Ouch. USPS ought to be able to ship that for $10 or even less. Well, to Canada anyway. I'm sure it costs more for other countries.

Not to be too rude or anything, but it's sort of not-classy to advertise your own figures in a thread whose purpose is drumming up business for another man's kickstarter, you know?

I hear what you're saying, but the discussion did veer to what Warlord of Mas figs were still available. Fair comment from Gary

Fair. I didn't think it was outright terrible or anything, but sort of borderline.

Maybe it wouldn't have come off so bad if it wasn't right after a post about how the KS campaign is faltering. I feel bad for John... there hasn't been a new pledge since mine yesterday and the campaign deserves better.

Definitely some lovely figures.   :-*

I'm hoping to see more backers join in this project.
