Hi , today I re organized the lights in one of my two vitrines and so I had to take out all the figures.
Have a look how that went:

Then I replaced about half of the figures with the ones painted in the last 9 months or so.

I must be crazy to do all the painting.

Good to see I'm not the only one who manages to get unpainted (or just undercoated) miniatures in the vitrines.

A nice collection, nothing wrong with this at all. Don't know if you're a nerd or not (probably yes, just as I am), but you must at least be a happy man with this collection.

Funny how people get to flash on someting as a bare back anytime!

There actually is a story behind this figure.
21 years ago I served as a german "Zivildienstleistender" instead of going into army service in the Bundeswehr (translator says: community servant). What I did was something as a male nurse. In that time we had a chief nurse who made or job a hell to live through. So we 6 community servants wanted to embaress her with that figure. I painted it but we all lost our courage and so the figure stayed in my house that long. Even my wife had no problem with it and the children did not ask a single question

Pretty much scifi elves in a steampunk world. But I like them and even the speedpaint color theme of the manufacturer.
