Need some bits and pieces - who makes......
« on: September 30, 2013, 11:14:21 PM »
I'm definitely NOT going to go mad on expanding my VBCW stuff - definitely not. But I do need some odd bits for Sir Gilbert Hill's Volunteers. So, any idea where I could find a Vickers HMG with a militia-style crew and also a mortar? I also need some separate tommy guns for some of my Welsh gangsters Nationalists. Anyone make them? I'm looking at  big 25 or small 28mm size.

And although I'm definitely NOT going to do  A Liverpool Free State contingent, it would be nice to know if anyone makes any suitable figures for some mutinous naval types..... ;)

Colonel Bills also does vbcw weapons packs.
For militia hmg crew, see musketeer minis. Take a look at my minis guide in my signature below for ideas for naval types, but off the top of my head try pulp minis and brigade.

Ooh, for sailors, you could also try Phoenix minis and Regiment Games :)

Thanks Rob - I'll follow those up. I've had an offer of a foundry vickers from Roo but still need to source the other stuff.

Pulp Figures makes nice RN and merchant sailors and have a excellent pack of machine and deck gun variations
Company B offers Lewis guns and a variety of other weapons
Brigade Games have some nice merchant marine types for rebellious sailors
Bolt Action figures have plastic sprues of German, British, and Russian weapons
Victory Force Miniatures makes a wide selection of US, German, and Russian weapons, in hands.

I am interested in land warfare throughout history and beyond, except the Seven Years War, in Europe.
