Don't you undercoat plastics???  :o

I used to, but now I've tried just giving them [ie GW Orcs so far] a nice bath in warm soapy water a gentle brush with a soft brush to get any grease etc off and then a good rinse.

So far they all seem to accept paint with no problem and a good couple of layers of varnish means they haven't had damage yet. I'm probably doing something wrong though and it will all end in tears  :(

I undercoat all my models whether they be metals, plastic or resins. Even after the warm soapy water scrub, primer is suggested.
