I'd say something tracked. At that size base and scale I would venture a guess as to either land ironclads or maybe the smaller end of dystopian wars.

Not a bad guess!

It is of course Clementine and Victoria - the first two land ironclads commissioned for the Bug War.

Can you guess what this is then:

And lastly a WIP of the British Commanding Officer:

My Empire - where everything I ever did is collected:

Muahaha. I think they worked out well with the smoke stacks and all.

I probably should have removed the imperial eagle atrocity but I think I have a work around. I don't want to cut in such an old fine piece as the Clementine.

Thanks. You will notice that the Victoria has an aeronef platform to the rear.  :D

Indeed! I am no sculptor but I think it the model looks OK. Paint will hopefully convince the rest.

Thanks. They're old reliables.

To me this seems the proper scale for vsf more and more.

I think it rather depends on your definition of VSF, not everybody wants huge land ships dominating the battlefield. Your work here however is a strong armament that that is exactly what we should be wanting.

This is very true but it is also very tempting to build one in 28mm...  lol

Ah, I should perhaps elaborate.  :D

I remember when I started VSF that I thought it would be like a skirmish game. But a lot of what I saw was people playing 40 k size games in 28 mm. So more 'battle' and not so much skirmish.

I realise this has probably changed much since the advent of the omnipresent In Her Majesty's Name or Empire of The Dead which are both hardcore skirmish to my understanding.

This is very true but it is also very tempting to build one in 28mm...  lol

Yes, come on - if anyone could do it, it would be you! ;-)
