"Bargain" on E-bay ...
Both are from Franklin Mint Armour, both are 1/48 scale He 111 of the Luftwaffe ... and they are "size monsters"  :D

First of a version during the Battle of Britain, the swastika has been removed (only on the picture).

Next one is another He 111 stationed in Africa. Swastika has been "altered" by the manufacturer already. Kinda silly, since the other one has one big, evil swastika on the tail fin ...

And just to show the scale, a shot of LAM German Marines with the He 111.

Enjoy ... I sure do! :-*

Brilliant 111's. Do they make a ju52 too??

The 111 is such a cool and almost space scifi like plane. Ideal for Indy..

Yup, they actually do make a Ju 52, actually several different ones - even a good old Lufthansa one  :). But be prepared to spend silly amounts of cash. I got lucky with mine, as they were not "labled" correctly. Guess noone saw them. Ju 52s on ebay go for around 100€ + ... don't say I didn't warn you.  :D

Update
I found two "cheaper" ones. Take a look <a href="http://www.ebay.de/itm/Franklin-Mint-1-48-Ju-52-OVP-/140800445291?pt=Standmodelle_Baus%C3%A4tze&hash=item20c85c4b6b" target="_blank">here and <a href="http://www.ebay.de/itm/Franklin-Mint-1-48-B11F026-Ju-52-3m-Luftwaffe-Transport-HK-OVP-/140800442538?pt=Standmodelle_Baus%C3%A4tze&hash=item20c85c40aa" target="_blank">here.

Ooh that looks rather nice.

Ficou marcado na história
E no Rio não tem outro igual
Só o Flamengo é campeão mundial
E agora seu povo

Yes it does ;) And it was cheap - 15€. It doesn't come with weapons (except for the machine guns on the wings) but it's got the holes for them. I've got a couple of 1/48 weapons set from Hasegawa and I'll try to kitbash some rocket pods from them.

When I was working in Milton Keynes office 2 years ago, the local hobby shop had a big pile of Franklin planes going dead cheap to get rid of them. I got a nice little Junkers floatplane for my interwar games - just wish I'd snapped up some more of them when I had the chance. :-[

 :D
Got another two airplanes in 1/48. Again, I removed the swastikas just in the pictures.
First of the (in)famous Stuka Ju-87 G "Kanonenvogel" in winter camouflage.

Last, but not least a Focke-Wulf Fw 190 A-7. I am not so sure on this one. It doesn't say on the box and the closest I came on Google was an A-7. Anyway, I am pretty sure it is a Fw 190 ... :D

Now I will sit in my living room and stare at these things. Got not much else to do as I am broke no. lol

maybe that might be a bit closer, if the information is correct:
Heinz Bär (221), II./JG1, Deutschland, Störmede, April 1944

http://www.hobby-luftfahrt.de/cont/flgz/fw_190a7_baer.htm

... looks pretty much like it ;)

best wishes
DK

PS
actually Spitfire and FW 190 (only the short noses) are my favorites ... love 'em

have been visiting the Deutsche Museum at Munich (German Museum, one of the biggest about technical issues in Germany) and found these ones again ... they might come handy in pulp-games ... without inventing any pulpiness to it, I think.

I forgot to write down, what they are (shame on me, I really forgot), but the lower on is a Dornier and the upper one is ... it's a ... ahm ... well ... don't know ... so sorry  :?

best wishes

Very nice, Bezzo.  Is it based on anything, or did Corgi just get speculative?
