Converted Stargate figures
« on: May 21, 2008, 11:22:21 PM »
Since I couldn't find any Eureka Stargate figures I decided to convert my own.  I was finally able to finish painting them.  I still need to put mat varnish and finish the bases, but I couldn't wait to post them.  I have some more that I am going to convert with Hawk heads for another system lord.

There are some more pics at http://s233.photobucket.com/albums/ee130/jbuckvb/  under the Stargate folder

Have you seen the Pheonix miniatures stuff in 28mm? I'm on the work computer so I can't give ya a link. I got to it through The Miniatures Page.

Great looking group you have there.  The Jaffa headsets look excellent.

The two current suppliers of Stargate models I know of are:

Thank you all for the kind words.  I have looked at both Phoenix and Shield Wall miniatures, the only problem I have with them are that they are modeled after the show and not the movie.  Also, the Phoenix ones are a little too small compared to my
Earth forces (GW Cadians).  I might place an order from Shield Wall to see how they look.

I picked the Shield Wall ones as they are bigger and fit nicely with my TAG modern earth forces.

I'll snap a photo to compare the sizes for you if that would be handy, I have some GW Cadians to compare with.

They do both 20mm and 28mm SG minis.

Justin: I love what you did with these minis. Do you have 'how-to-do'? Loved the movie, have seen a few of the TV episodes...

Moody: Where are the Shieldwall 28 mm SG minis? I cannot find them...

Ignore the shields and spears, they are supplied with both these and Stargate style staff weapons.
