Cool. Need more crab men. Are you doing the more crablike ones as well?

:-*

And there's the name! Flesh Rats!

Quick question(s).
a) Is the Molech a personal project or slated for later down the line?
b) I forget if you were planning on modifying the Bloatflies before putting them back up for sale?

Better than "ballbag rats" like I was otherwise planning.  lol

For now the Molech was a personal thing. Maybe down the line I'll make more and not paint them straight away.

I'm going to get a new mold for the flies with many of them in one so I can sell them in packs rather than individually.

I'll share Wyrmallas painted ones.
If you'd like an apocalyptic monster in 28mm, throw me a PM and I'll think it over.

Heh, I'm starting to like your idea better. Scratums maybe?  lol

Thanks for the answers as well. Wish I'd been quicker on those flies, but all is not lost.

Isnt he just an adorable little moley? I wonder if Moria Brown would send you on a domestication errand if she saw one.

Looking good Messy.

Still in the sloppy stages but I've finally got the shape of the wings together.
Soon I'll work out how to make the legs so they can be safely cast. x3

Eww... Wait hang on I need to be more expressive than that. Uh... pointy?

Ah, so that's more 40mm base sized then? I had expected something smaller, but then again they were rather large in the game.

...Now whether or not my inherent bias against these things will effect picking up a few. I may hate them, but will people playing my games hate me for throwing some at their hapless party? :)

When it's cast up I might make myself about 50 and hang them from my ceiling to creep me the fuck out.

Bonus news, kinda dating now and she used to sculpt so I'm getting her back into it.
Might even give me a kick in the arse so I crack on with mine more!

...Which reminds me, a little bit of cleaning up and I can get the two adult ballbag rats into a mold. Will work out how to fit the baby in there too so I can sell them as a family pack.

Well, I miss when I used to feel like I could sculpt and show off what I made without feeling like I had to finish it and have it for sale.
So I started work on a second version of the mutant. I'm not sure if I want to go for the "true-to-game" style I've adopted for previous models in future or if I just want to make this a nice multi-part kit that roughly fits the bill.

Oh and I've finally finished off a little group of rodents.
Will be sorting out their molds soon. :P

Woo!!! An extra mutant.  8)  8) He looks very 'cut', those fevs must help with his workout schedule.

You are getting quite a collection there Messy.

Cheers, no pressure.
