Jolly good show! Nice to see an action that doesn't feature Colonial powers, for a change.

Hey David,

Great write up and pics.  I am just curious, how do you find BP works for small skirmishes like yours?  We play it a lot now in our club but it has been all larger battles.  I have had some scenario ideas for smaller skirmishes but hesitated to try them with BP.

Thanks,

John

Always good to see some more Darkest Africa fun. I have to admit, it is my special favourite out of all the various colonial goings-on we get here. Would not have thought of using Black Powder for the genre, but I guess there is no earthly reason not to, and it seems to work fine.

Triggered encounters and the like are always a fun addition to DA games, too. Nice one.

Hi John! Glad you liked the report. BP works fine with our smaller units, just treat them as regular sized. Adding in encounter markers makes native units unpredictable too. Sorry the reply was late, but I'm on holiday in Sicily and had no wifi for a few days. David
