It might be of interest that their site seems to have updated and now mentions having a holiday sale between now and 4th of January 2016.

I ordered from BCB about a month ago. My mate ordered about a month before that.

Both orders arrived overseas (Ireland) in under a fortnight.

I've been wanting to make an order with Black Cat bases and I'm in the U.S., but I heard a lot of bad things about orders. Does this issue seem to have been cleared up with them?

The 4 most recent posts seem to say so, 2 of which have been overseas orders. Looks like they are back n track.

I forgot to post. Placed an order after I read the first two deliveries and got mine in 2 weeks.

I placed a small order on 28.06., dispatched on 01.07., received on 12.07.. - Not bad.
Packaging could be better (a bit of bubble wrap would be good, the ziplock bag around the mini is often not enough of protection).
I'm happy they're back in business. They got still some stuff I need... will order again!

Was there ever some kind of official statement about their temporary hiatus?

Hi guys,

I thought I will post my positive experience here. I also placed a small order on 13/08/16, marked as dispatched on 28/08/16 and received today on 2/09/16. All present and accounted for. I placed my order through Paypal in order to receive buyer protection just in case.

placed an order and received it in under a week. There was a minor error which was rectified 24hours after i informed them .

Yeah, probably resolved if the latest orders are anything to go by. I ordered Sunday night to take advantage of the 20% sale and got my stuff on Tuesday. That's good going.
