I've got a pair of 1:48 Hueys from Revell.  I was going to go use 28s for my Nam project, but when I found the super cheap plastics I jumped over to 20mm.

Diecast ones might be the way to go?

A pal of mine has a couple of Corgi Hueys and Cobras. I think they are 1:48 or close to it.

A 1:50, I think, scale Eurocopter from Tesco, (a UK supermarket chain).
He that trades Liberty for Security will soon find that he has neither.

Received an order from quarter kit:

3 excellent 1/50 scale solido diecast trucks:

Got this French/German staff car too, but won't keep it as it's too different in size from the tamiya one I already have (it's 1/43 instead of 1/50-1/48). :(

And finally, a great Hasegawa 1/48 kit with a Japanese truck and car:  :D

Now, I don't want anybody to go into shock, but, I bought this model as a model.  It's not for use with any of my 28mm's.  I'm one of those guys who cannot mix scales when I build a diorama or vignette.  I've been modelling for 50 years ( :o ) and it's locked in my brain - 1/48 is too large to mix with 28mm (1/56), by about 20%.  However, I know there are plenty of you who are not so rigid and might be interested.  It's a beautiful kit and can also be built civilian.

I haven't bought the Hasegawa kit shown below yet but I'm on the lookout!

A TRAIN, a Classic Express set !!!!!
After many moonths of looking for one of the goldlok trains i finally found one in the second hand shop across the street for £3
It's not a genuine goldlok set tho but a toy state one, it looks just like the fastlane/goldlok ones tho :-*
