Report and pics of my Z campaign
« on: May 26, 2008, 12:53:30 PM »
I've been playing a few zombie games for a solo campaign. I've not been very successful until now. Even playing solo I manage to loose my games. :?

But yesterday I played episode 3 with a new survivors group and all went well ! (except for Frankie)

Full story here : Z campaign - episode 3

(It's been a long time I have not been here. Not since the move  - but tsar1701 keeps talking me about this place and the prof keeps sending messages. This is still a GREAT place !)

Thanks !

Yes Argonor, there are West Wind zombies. Both from the Gothic Horror

and the Road Kill ranges.

Others are from Clix, Copplestone and from East Riding (Golgo Island).

Zombies make great solo game opponents as all they ever want to do is eat your brains so you pretty much know what your in store for and rules for them are easy to write up in just about any system you might play.

Here are mine for BGWWII.

Ed's ATZ is a great system and the campaign system is one of the best around.  If you ever get a chance to meet Ed do so as he is a great guy and a brilliant game designer.  He's a fellow Texan now to so that makes him just a bit more cooler. lol

Well I live a bit too far to meet him personaly  :) but I have interviewed him through e-mail for a french mag.

I am completely fond of his system and have got almost every Two Hour Wargames ruleset.  :-*

Excellent reports. I hadn't seen those WW zombies before, and you painted them dead on. Great terrain, great minis.
What I like about ATZ is that you never can tell what's going to happen. I had a rescue chopper crash on the way in and the pilot killed 15 zeds before falling victim, and the rescue team leader "turned" on the outbound rescue chopper and was blown out the back by a survivor. Weird.
