Hi Figouze

I'm fascinated by the Albigensian Crusade - do you have any more information on the game? I especially liked those coats of arms on the info sheet! Also what rules were you guys using?

Lovely looking table, do you have any closer pictures of the figures?

Yesterday, we used Lords of the ring rules because it is the simpliest we could find with some 12 unit warband for each side (Crusaders and meridionals).

The warband were composed by :
- 1 knight
- 1 mounted sergeant.
- 8 soldiers (including 2 with crossbows, 2 with bows, 2 spearman and 2 two hand handlers or sword and shield ones).
- 2 peasants.

Combat skill was :
knight > guard > peasant

Armor : base of 3 (maximum 6)
+1 buckler
+2 mail
+1 gambeson

Weapons :
crossbow force 4
bow force 3

Shoot skill : 5+ for the soldiers.

Really nice paintwork and terrain.  I think the Albigensian Crusades is fascinating as well.

That info sheet looks spectacular. Games with that kind of added visual appeal are always much more interesting. Naturally, the miniatures and terrain are also gorgeous.

A beautiful setup, with a smashing selection of miniatures to boot. My favourite style of knight; I love a bit of mail and surcoat.
