Demon Summoning Circle
« on: November 05, 2013, 09:39:30 PM »

I've finally managed to get some time and paint a few items including my Medium sized Demon Summoning Circle miniature. :D I tried to make the pentagram lines look like lava but I'm not sure how well I succeeded. If it looks like blood, that would do just as well! As long as it's demonic! I talk about painting it on my blog (http://yeomanmodels.blogspot.com/2013/11/victorian-post-boxes-and-demon.html)

The two models behind the circle I painted a couple of years ago. They were based on HP Lovecraft monsters.

Nice. I think you succeeded with the glowy lava effect - very effective.
Have fun storming the castle! ...and that really isn't me you know...

Gothic Project: leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=55943.0 - although on pause atm as too much RL stuff getting in the way.

Thanks! I'm wondering if I should paint up another one with a totally different colour scheme rather than the black-grey-silver combination. Maybe a Light sandstone, blue and blood red!
