That's what I thought!

But I'm looking forward to seeing the results. I've got my eye on these for a Gemell-inspired Sathuli army, so I'm interested in how these turn out.

Measure with a micrometer, mark with chalk, cut with an axe, hammer to fit, paint to match!

New unit of Turcoman mercenaries in the service of the Egyptian sultan.

More pictures at: http://kampgruppe-engel.blogspot.se/2014/05/turcomans.html

The unit is a mix of Perry miniatures and Gripping beast. I switched the horses to create even greater mix.

Thanks Willie.

Latest unit, some Mamluk heavy horsearchers to my growing force.

The miniatures are from Musketeer Miniatures.

I liked my unit of Saharan light horse so much that I used that colour scheme on an archer unit.

I will count this unit as a medium archer unit in Hail Caesar so I have added shields on their backs.

Many more pictures at: http://kampgruppe-engel.blogspot.se/2014/05/saharan-berber-archers.html

The miniature are a mixture of Gripping Beast new plastic arabs, Gripping beast metal miniatures and some miniatures from Magister Militum and I really like the feeling of variation in the unit.

What I really needed for my army was a commander and I now got it. Accompanied by a drummer I wanted to have a base full of motion and colour.

So are trying to get my men killed and then you leave the fields and takes my villages for your own?
I saw what you tried to do there...

You know that there more infighting between varius muslim rulers then against the crusaders right?

 ;)

But seriusly, Im trying to convince a gaming buddy of mine to get an arabic army to. He have gotten some miniatures but is a litle behind on the painting part so far. After that hopfully there will be no big problem to lure any other member of my gaming club to start a crusader army to oppose us.  :D
