With the latest spearmen unit painted I thought they could need their own command.

Many more pictures at: http://kampgruppe-engel.blogspot.se/2014/09/saharan-berber-command.html

And together with his troops, my Saharan/ Berber faction that are meant to be incorporated in my overall Ayyabid army they look like this.

Before a battle we had last Thursday I took these pictures of my Saracen force.

At the moment this is what I can muster.  :D

Big thanks guys.

Those Tripolitian knights ain´t mine but I did do the shields for my friend Håkan, and I must admit they do look good.
Their mere precence on the battlefields made the saracens think twice about any movement when they were in the vincinity...

I had this image in my head of a ragtag group of crusaders tossed together in the heat of battle. Working together and discarding each other’s differences. It really got me the excuse to create this small group of brothers in arms.

I plan to use these in Hail Caesar with these stats.

Clash - 6
Sustained - 5
Short range - 2/1
Long range - 1
Moral save - 4+
Stamina - 4
Special rules: Tough fighters, Stubborn, Steady, Valiant, Elite, Double handed weapon, Crossbow

I thought about giving them Brave and the Fanatic special rule but that might just be to much. Im sure these tough bastards will hold any waterhole or ruins they have claimed as their and afraid my Saracens will have a hard fight getting rid of them.

After the last game of Hail Caesar I felt that my army was to hard to command, I needed more commanders to move the troops around.

Thanks Skip, more planed...

Latest unit, a small Arabic workforce.
Im not totally sure If I will use them by giving them a special role in sieges, as really crappy infantry, as objectives or just as civilian bystanders to give the gaming table more life.
