I love the consistency that show your army, moreover being a unique kitbash of models from all different periods and manufacturers.

So well done.  :o

Regards.

Big thanks guys.

With that latest unit painted I thought it was time for a new armyshot.

Im missing the African skirmishers as they were in the basement at the moment of photoshooting.

Last week we played another crusading game of Hail Caesar.

As my collection still is rather small or spread out we used "small" units.
As the armies weren't evenly matched in points we gave the Latin force some ruins to shelter in and a special rule of needed to hold out a number of turns rolling a dice for the game to end after this number of turns, the actual number of turns before they where allowed to roll that dice and the number on that dice have totally escapes me now.
And they where given two monk miniatures on foot, any foot units they are joining are given the stubborn rule (reroll one moral dice).

More pictures and the report can be found at: http://kampgruppe-engel.blogspot.se/2014/03/crusade-aar.html

And here are some of the Pictures.

A thought that occured to me is that the Heavy cavalry formations in "small size" games of Hail Caesar are a killer. To better balance the Heavy cavalry I Think I should move up to standard sized units.

Latest unit. A small unit of Saharan light horse.
I really like the dark blue on this unit.
The miniatures are from Gripping beast but the spears are actually plastic broomstick straws.

Their always a short supply on nice terrain so here’s a small amendment.

http://kampgruppe-engel.blogspot.se/2014/04/terrain-pieces.html

Some hills. Made out of styrophome, wood glue, sand, some watered down acrylic paint and a mixture of flock.

Big thanks fellows.

Those last are from Musketeer Miniatures.
Some of them I really like but some of them are just to stiff and chunky for my taste really.
