Was the very big one the one you had to fill? If not (because I can't be bothered with all that) where did you find it?
Everything is nice btw (goes without saying, not going to repeat myself).

they look great!

actually, the elephant poo rocks could be eroded gneiss or schist, because the layers are thinner, but then You would have to make them grayer and darker and they would not blend in with the others.

And my geomorphology ends here, because I would not know how to bring these two formations together  ???

Thanks, chaps....I think.... ::)

That is all I am aiming for: To get the different rocks to look 'right' together, hence the unifying colour scheme.
I am really not that bothered about gettings things correct, just so as they look ok when they are all on the table together.
 ;)

It was the small one that I had to fill, a;though it wasn't any bother.
I just shoved the blue foam in the hole and plugged with green stuff and milliput.
About ten minutes work.
Most of that time was used up mixing the two parts of the putty together.
 ;)

Both of the aquarium rocks, and ones in the previous post, are from ebay.
I shall send you the link, they have quite a selection.
 :D

All the rocks..... Upsheet Creek (BLAM 2014) UD:31/10

Time for some 'real' pictures..... :D

I got all the rocks out that I have to see what they look like and whether they 'filled' a table to allow a 'wilderness encounter'.
As you can see, I did dig out some trees to fill things up a little more...

.....the rocks were thrown on in a fairly random manner and the railroad tracks put in place so I could get an idea of how it should look once the Creek itself is made.

The Creek will be wider than the track pieces and nowhere near as straight, but it did enable me to judge what else was needed.

I reckon a few more rocks are still necessary to adequately fill the space.
This 'Bibbles-eye' view shows this much more clearly...

...so it is back to ebay I go.....

and maybe a few more pictures of the real nature ;)
You will notice that nothing is equally distributed all over the place

No need to apologise for informative and helpful pictures, sir.
They are much appreciated.
 :)

I know that I do not have to evenly distribute them.
A 'proper' game would be themed, so they would be spread according to the scenario.

That set-up was just to see what I CAN cover with an even spread.
If I wanted a fairly congested scene I will need more.
 ;)
