Also, if you got a smart phone you could do it anywhere ;D

Don't stress him, he's only just getting used to the idea that Betamax has been replaced!

Sorry Paul. I blame bad influences.

I imagine that there is some kind of 'character limit' per post, but I could be wrong about that.
If there is, though, each 'link' created would eat into that allowance.

Another thing is the 'Photobucket Debacle': They will eventually realise that most of the pics in this thread are hosted there and kill it, making all the extra effort pointless.

Anyway, I am off out later so I need to chuck the phone battery in the fire to make sure that it is sufficiently charged to last the day....

Don’t let them get to you Paul. It’s ok to be a technophobe. (Snigger)

There is (was under last server) a character limit per post as I hit it once with a Sales thread (when I thought it’d be very clever to add every new sale to the front page). It must be pretty big though.

EDIT1: with the new forum software you can advance by 50+ pages at a time. Just hold your finger over a number in the ‘pages’ section at the bottom of the page and it will expand to give you a wondrous range of possibility!  ;) :D

EDIT2: sorry : it’s double tap not a finger hold  :D

EDIT3: finally worked out what I’m doing... it’s not a double tap. You press over the series of full stops between the numbers  ;D

I am no technophobe, mate, just dont want to be staring at a phone screen all day like a lot of people I see, who cannot handle life without their phone. The panic when they realise that they have left it somewhere!
Not for me.
 ;)

Thanks for the tip on how to find a certain page.
That is truly wonderful information that I had no idea existed.
You diamond, you.
 :D

There ya go, Bibbles, no need to waste all that time after all.
 ;D

Paul - don't you let them get at you, it's un-necessary cyber bullying, what is the world coming to.  lol lol lol

S.I. thanks for the information, I know it took 3 goes but it's the thought that counts.  ;)

At least I should be able to find the link to the pencil sharpener waggons now that's buried in this thread near the middle.

Cheers both.

It’s just a little bit worrying that I couldn’t quite work out what my finger was doing ....  :D

I have that trouble all the time but I don't think I would have shared it with the world, I think that's very brave of you. :D

Now I have recovered from the thought of what exactly 'Fingergate' might entail, I thought that I would mention that the Creek is seeing an expansion.

Upwards...

I am taking the buildings from the Creek and building an upwardly mobile shanty town on top of them so that the same buildings will work better in my own Outland Sci Fi frontier setting.
I should mention that the new 'extensions' will all be removable so that the original buildings can still be used for their original purpose.
 ;)

This work will be added to a new thread that is on the Future Wars board as the 'extensions' are not really appropriate for the Old West (Weird West, maybe..).

For those that may be interested, the new thread can be found here:

Does your wife know you've been pinching her rollers to make scenery, she'll go ballistic. :o :o

She may go more ballistic at the thought of using hair rollers!
 ;)

Sacrilege!  :(

Lol

Don't worry: There are plenty more rollers available if you are worried about them becoming extinct....
 :D

More hair rollers WILL be harmed in the making of this production.

Sacrilege!  :(

Lol

If you reckon that is sacrilege, then what about this......

We got a couple of small games in last night to test out the combat rules for The Lemonade Wars.
Dug out and dusted down the Upsheet Creek scenery to represent a more rural area of the United States of Animalia....

Is that better or worse than the sc-fi expansion?
 :D :D
