Well I was beginning to wonder.

It looks good in B&W, now looking forward to seeing it in Glorious Texhnicolour(like what the Westerns you watched in your youf were filmed in)

 :)

 lol
Ya nutter!

Awesome fella. Now fill it with money for me to steal  8)

That there be fightin' talk, ya dirty stinkin' varmint!
 >:(

Here is a much-doctored picture, trying to get the colours right, rather than the blurry washed-out effect that I managed...

Proper piccies tomorrow.
 :D

Looks great. As with all if your terrain you make the bases so that the building feels part of the landscape rather than just plonked on top of it. Brilliant.

COOL LOOKING STUFF & NAME! The Bank is a FINE adaptation of the original piece...& a focal point for nefarious activities. AND it gives me another thread to follow.

Aye. Top work. Can't help thinking it needs a hitching post tho.

The sickle in the fruitful field;
The sword he sung a song of death,
But could not make the sickle yield."

Thanks, Andy!
It was a great building to play around with, I agree.

It did have a hitching post but it snapped off when I was drybrushing it.
I need to make something a little more Bullock-proof before adding it to the base.
I will go back and add all these small details later, doing all of them at the same time.
 ;)

I am going to sort out some better pictures this evening and post them later....

The Birth of Upsheet Creek- The Bank- Finished (MUCH Better pictures!) 10/11

Right, here are the (much better) piccies, courtesy of the Missus...

The proof that the Bank is finished.
With 'Brian's Mum' taking a walk around the block for scale...

'Brian's Mum' checks out the barrel where the guns are stored when folks are visiting the Bank......

....and here she is checking out the roof for leaks.

These pictures are so much better than my three-thumbed efforts.

Hope you like them...

So you're doing Old West now too! I might have accidentally bought 30 Artizan cowboys and a few buildings from e-bad a while ago and I've been busy scribbling and planning. I've resisted adding to it and then you do this!  lol The bank looks great; I like the setting on the base, I hadn't thought to do that but now I see it done it looks good.

I sense another successful foray into a new genre for you!

Right on Paul, you've succumbed to the OW setting. Smashing good show, I need some inspiration and some propper good builds to provide my little mind with possibilities. Glad that Brian's mum has setup shop in the Creek, but it does look a little bare of other folks ;)

I may have missed it Mr Mason, but what will you use as a board? Will the buildings all sit next to eachother like mordheim or will you do a board to fill inbetween?

Cheers
Matt
