Jinkies! Painted Hasslefree 'Not' Scooby Gang
« on: May 28, 2008, 09:14:47 PM »
A couple of pics of everybody's favourite teen-investigators - plus I've finally figured out how to embed photos in my posts! Hoorah for a (temporary) end to idiocy!

Smashing. That pose makes Fred look especially gay. I always had my doubts about him.

Your link just takes me to the Shaggy and Scooby pic, by the way.

I think this is the correct link:

Awesome stuff!  I am so tempted to get those but I don't play anything modern so they would go to waste.

Great paint,
Brian

What, you had doubts?!? I always have to fight his mental image when they play Frank Zappa´s "Bobby Brown" on the radio...

Totally superb painting. That balance between unobtrusive and pronounced shading has been perfectly met.

Very nice paint on some more than decent sculpts. Shame they are more like 20mm especially alongside Copplestones etc.

Nice to see a set done in their traditional colors. Did Hasselfree finally come out with a Scooby, then?

Is the Scooby figure from Hasselfree or is that from another range?

Your paint job is so great it's tempting me to pick up these figures even though I don't have an immediate use for them.  Hmm, perhaps those pesky kids and their dog need to investigate a zombie outbreak...
There's a time for joking around and a time to be serious; this is not one of them.

Scooby is from the Frothers Watchman set - but the grapevine tells me that Kev is scuplting a 'Not Scooby'.

I can't claim the painting on these  - but some of you may recognise the excellent brushwork from an anonymous commission ;) The man is a genius!
