Aha! Pictures of the Sikhs. I saw them the other day on the Brigade site, but there was no picture then.

So thanks, Prof.

Cool minis!  I like the Sikh HMG.  Is the Sikh command set out yet?

The Mike Owen Sikhs are also great!  These guys are wearing long trousers.  Apart from Italy, where else could I use them for?

BTW - I just re-discovered a pack of WW1 Sikh HMGs at Copplestone too!

In WW2 I think they saw action in north & east Africa and Burma. Especially the latter would do for great pulp scenarios.

Brigade makes the models and I want them!

Anyone have any good sources of campaign info on these guys?  Books, websites?

I did find these photos:  http://www.uniformfotos.de/asien-korps.html

Achtung! Uniformen!

The Brigade Asien Korps are really great. So are the Turks. And now they're on my painting table!

Thanks.  I've been finding some info on the axis history forum too.

The Asien Korps are a total surprise to me -- I can do WW1 Germans and its not in the trenches of Flanders

Hi

Lon had indicated to me in an e-mail that he hopes Mike can get the Sikh Command done within the next couple of months.

God Bless

Hi

Also look at the Germans in Palestine Range from Battle Honours especially the  Company Command Pack as they maybe slightly slimmer but they have a field telephone, goggles on their pork pie hats and there are some nice officers and NCOs.. The artillery piece and crew is also very nice. If you want to also look at the HMG you have a crew firing and  acrew carrying the HMG - well worth the extra commitment.

God Bless

Helen
