'The BellRinger' Dwarven Mercenary mini WIP sculpture
« on: November 10, 2013, 12:55:01 AM »
I wanted to share a dwarf i made.

I call him 'The BellRinger'.

25mm Heroic scale.

Dwarven NPC Mercenary with a +4 Shocking-Touch, Great Hammer.

Favored Enemy: Ogres
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral

Still havnt decided how im going to finish the Hammer yet, maybe with some celtic knots, or dwarven faces with their tongues sticking out that animate and spew nasty insults whenever the weapon rolls a critical hit, which would make it a chaotically aligned weapon. (Penalty to lawful aligned characters)

He's one of several dwarves ive been working on.

hmmm, you're right it is a bit blurry. Must be because of the automatic resizing.  :?

here's a link to a higher resolution image:

thanks  :)

Ill share more as they start to near completion. Im giving them a sort of Mad Max Beyond the Thunder Dome, road warriors sort of feel. Im heavily influenced by 'Battleragers' from the AD&D Book of Dwarves.

That is a GREAT hammer. :-)
Not a fan of the high platform shoes though. I like the dwarf sculpt a lot though. Pretty damn snazzy.
Show us more please.

Love this.  Not your ordinary dwarf figure.  I especially love the KISS armor.  The boots are ace.

Now that I think about it you should do 4 and paint them as KISS.
This is my boomstick!

HAHAHAHAHA!!!!  ;D

ya, it definitely has a Gene Simmons sort of feel.

those spikes are like golf shoes; to anchor him in place & give him traction as he's swinging around the giant hammer. (Also works good fro crushing goblyn skulls too.)

Well now, if you wanna look at it that way the boots aren't Ace they are Gene.  :-)
