A 99p Daimler Scout Car

A bargain on EBay and a little bit of work and pieces from the spares box turned this:

into this:

Is it perfect, no, my eyesight is giving me trouble and adjusting to glasses is proving less than fun, but it was 99p and now the Christmas Special is complete I just fancied a bit of a project to help me wind down before Christmas.  I've put more details in a two part piece on Lard Island News.

Lovely job, remember having that car when a kid if I remember the gunner moved sideways so you could have him firing on the move :D 8)

That's the one.  I pulled the gunner out with a pair of pliers.

Of course the best thing about this model is that the wheels turn so I can actually drive it about whilst going brrrrm, brrrm.  How good is that?!   ;D

All modellers should take note on the wheels moving  lol, just add Dakka Dakka, interspersed with "take that you Bally Bosch" and you are set  :D

Actually in my office there were 2 Italian young guys that knew nothing of wargames of course but when I told them it included tanks and car they did ask if the wheels turned!
