Britt Reid: Not now Kato. Not like this. The Green Hornet and his assistant might be able to operate outside the law, but Britt Reid and his valet have to stay on this side of the law.

Here is my version of The Green Hornet. He is another Pulp Figures mini with a sculpted face mask and gun mods to try and make it unique. Pics are with flash as it gives a better estimate of the colors. Non flash pics are too dark. Tried to paint a basic hornet symbol on the mask like the character in the comics.

Kato: KI-YAH!
The Shadow: Impressive. You have been trained in the art of Ninjutsu, I see.
Kato: Yes. You might say, in fact, that I have studied the "Shadow Ways."

Here is Kato. This was a relatively easy paint job of the Pulp Figures mini. I really enjoy him in the comic series, gained a greater appreciation for his talents. Back and side shots in the album.

(Bad guy hit by unknown assailant) KTHUNK
Green Hornet: Wha--?
Unknown Assailant: Men call me The Spider. It appears that you could use another set of hands.

Next up for the league is The Spider. Another Pulp Figures mini with some green stuff for the face mask. My free hand skills aren't great so the red lines are a little thick but it is good enough for me. As far as the league goes I am thinking of leaving it here and adding Zorro later down the line.

I never said how long later down the line was...

"My family has a story about a man who felt the law was not enough...if the law was not there to help the common man, then he would be...few people would ever know the true identity of the man called ZORRO."

Finally got round to painting my ZORRO to complete my MASKS team. It is a Pulp Figures miniature from Bob Murch to match the rest of the team. Here is a pic from the comic showing all 5 heroes.

And all 5 miniatures.

I had planned to leave it there but then found another figure in my lead pile that I decided to paint up as a bonus league member. Here he is.

The Black Terror!

This is a Reaper fig. My freehand is terrible so the skull and bones aren't great but they are passable. Pretty pleased with how he turned out. Here is a pic of all 6 MASKS together.

I love the masked heroes. I especially liked that you referenced existing characters from the old pulp stories. I think The Spider is my favourite.

great work!  in that comic pic there's a silhouette of a 6th figure so i assume that's the black terror addition.

Great work  :o :o :o True pulp hero's well represented. Keep up the good work there are so many pulp hero's and villains that need to be correctly portrayed.
