The Indian Army in Pictures
« on: June 04, 2008, 01:36:11 PM »
I stumbled across this courtesy of Google. Most of the pictures are black and white, but some are still very instructive as painting references not to mention damned inspirational. There are tons that pertain to colonial and BoB also.

That Sikh-in-a-barrel is priceless. I have heard the Indian army in Kut was short of supplies but I did not know that they had to resort to clichés.

Is the guy on the right making a cross to ward off the swooping vampire just out of shot whilst the gunner takes aim? Standing in a barrell is not going to save the other guy though.
