Hyperlinks in the above message are working fine :)  (I'll drop you a PM as well)

Love the note on 'switching projects' - like you I am a lead butterfly!

I will admit that I did not buy into the OGAM rules at the start but will follow this with interest - please stay on track and pot a few AAR as well as the build log.

Good Luck
Andrew

Massive thanks for the help with the HTML. Does this website use a different version to normal or am I just oblivious to there being variations on HTML?

On being a lead butterfly - I've always been of the mindset that 'I do this hobby for fun, and as such I should do whatever I have the most enthusiasm for, and will get the most enjoyment out of'...but this does mean that out of everything that I have ever done, I'm not convinced that I've taken a single project to 100% completion.

I'll try and keep my blog updated and stay on track.

MM.

Followed. Good luck! I such at sticking to a project, as I have the same policy you do. Did my painting challenge for 3 months, and it felt like work at the end.

Of course, now it sits unfinished in a drawer! Keep at it!

Glad I could help  :)

Technically its not HTML but a pseudo-code known as Bulletin Board Code (or BBC) and a little more detail can be found buried in the help here or on the main support site for the software at Simple Machines
TinyPortal © 2005-2017
but thats more than anyone really need to know to live here (and may not be fully supported in this release).  Who knows, one day SM may incorporate a WYSIWYG editor like MCE - anyway this sounds much too technical for a Wargames site  lol

Please post pictures here as well on your blog - some folk can get here but not to Blogger when behind corporate firewalls!

Thats not a code that I've run into before, but at least I can sort of work with it now - thanks again!

Also, good point with the photos, from now on I'll put some pretty teaser pictures up when I put up the updated URL.

Just love those eyes  :o

The strip shows up the white pupils great and really helps make the figure.

Well done.

Thanks - Im glad that you like the eyes. I probably spent about half of the total painting time for that model on those two mm2....but hearing that someone other than me thinks they looking groovy makes it feel like time well spent.

Just updated the log. Today, I am proud to present Freyr's magical long-ship, Skíðblaðnir.

The usual words and pictures are on my blog. LINK.

Let me know what you think - oh, and happy new year!

Great start to the Year :o

Not sure about 'the model is that it is completely unnecessary' - I've yet to see one that I could not make a case for buying lol

Paint scheme is perfect for the ship and the correct call - fantastic paint colours would not have worked at all but this is A1.

Freyr - and the magic ship - are just brilliant! The eyes were worth the time spent on them. As for the ship - besides the grand paint job - it's a magic ship, so I wouldn;t worry about size or shape. Looking forward to the trolls  8)

"Rain Stops Play", Day 3.

For the last three days it has rained constantly, and there has nay been a ray of sunlight.  :'(

The next 'update' is ready to go...just waiting on even the most basic lighting conditions to take some photographs.

So yeah....watch this space.....
