The mat I have used in the game are simple Games Workshop green mats. They are so cheap and good that they decided to retire them from the market!

think I may have made a boo-boo with the 'mat-o-war'... odd - somehow every mat / terrain set-up I see around on the forums is much closer to what I'd like than anything I seem to manage myself !
