Photo obviously taken in front of the blue gradient apocalypse. Wish I had such cool terrain like most of you guys have.  :(

Painting like that speaks for itself, no need for the background crutch :)

Great new entries  8)

I still can't seem to unsub to threads??  Any moderator help?

Each thread has a notify button to activate the notify option.  Selection of the notify button will send you an email when a new post is added to the thread. Deselection will allow you to end email notifications.

I would imagine that the thread notify process takes precedence over your global notification settings, which can be found in your Profile under Notifications & Email.

There's also the Show New Replies to Own Posts / Unread Posts buttons, which will give you a list of what's been posted since your last visit.  You cannot remove this thread from those lists.

Hopefully this will help you out but if there are still website admin problems they should be addressed in the About Forum board, thanks.

Dr Mathias, that is one superb PJ sir!  :-*  :-*

TBC, May I suggest a way forward? I prefer to not recieve more emails, so turn off all email notifications, and rely upon the "Show Replies" function below my Avatar in the top left navigation panel.

My only PA mini left is freshly stripped ready for undercoat - EM4 provided it with a 'thorough' white undercoat that hid a fair bit of detail - so hopefully it will get in a slot! Or we get overrun with zombies... What ever happens first ;)

Cheers
Matt

Can I also participate with a GorkaMorka fig? There was an apocalypse on Angelis after all...
Otherwise I'll have to paint another one of those MadMax Copplestone guys with the skull on the back! ;)

If it's a Digga I'd say probably yes. Not sure about Orks though. Probably not. The theme is generally human. However I'm not moderator or anything. Just my opinion.

I've thought about it.... heck I even had to research it as I've never played GorkaMorka ....  and my ruling is broadly negative.  PA games (as discussed on LAF) are generally Earth based whereas GorkaMorka's apocalypse occurs elsewhere (in some other solar system?), which in LAF terms makes it science fiction, which belongs in the Future Wars board.

I say broadly negative because there are PA minis that might feature in PA games, Modern games and Future Wars games, so there's clearly some crossover but I'd really like to keep the painting club focussed on entries that are used or collected for this board's intended purpose.

As has been said, the theme here is human (and human derived) so if you have a mini that you think is representative of one of the PA categories in the OP  but you aren't sure if it will be permitted, by all means PM me with an image and I'll give you a definite yay or nay.

More great entries.   :)

With painting quality like this I think terrain would actually detract from the figure itself.

(29) Scavenger / Proxy-Digga

Ok, I found another Copplestone scavenger in the box that I could paint, so I can save the guy with the skull for the next entry... ;)

Not the best pic I'm afraid. :?
