SAGA LOTR Battle Report: Orc Reconnaissance

An Orc force of 32 have been seen on the borders. They split up into three groups. Waiting for them are, 24 City Militia in two groups, The Prince, and 4 Thegns. They stand firm to stop this festering plaque.



With no Warlord leading them,  the Maggots charge furiously at our first group of men.



A great slaughter ensued, but our men held strong and prevailed over the onslaught.



Our brethren to the right of us found themselves cut off and surrounded.



The Prince and his Thegns rushed to aid our comrades and made mincemeat of the Orc scum.



Now our brethren could contend with the menace facing them.



As soon as we felt victory in our grasp, Orc scum surrounded the Prince. It was the last we saw of him. Receiving 5 hits he ignored the first, 2 could be shared, but the last 2 were fatal.



The Orc scum slinked back beyond the borders with the head of the Prince as trophy. We mourn and crave our revenge.......

Fantastic stuff, have all LOTR forces been modded for SAGA?  I'll be honest I don't knot much about the system but it looks great and our group is looking for a rule set to play smaller games of LOTR with.

Great looking figures and battle report. Looks like the game was a lot of fun. I need to blow the dust off my LOTR figures and get them back on the tabletop again. Thanks for the inspiration and sharing.
