Pictors Studio in the US, ran a game of Gloire last night. You can read the report on it here:

And there's a link to pictures.

greast game and lots of nice minis!

I'm wondering, is it possible to make with Gloire a conquistador  game, some spanisch warriors, monks and some inca ones (Foundry or TAG figs for example). Conquistadors will work for sure but do you need special rules fot incas or would be enough the usual character profil?

It is a great report! Scott painted up three packs of Foundry Swashbucklers since Sunday. In that time I have not been able to finish four single figures. I have inducted Scott into the Order of the Knights of St. Benedict Biscop. This honor will be extended to those who take pictures of a game of Gloire with painted figures.

Yes, you could do Gloire with Conquistadors and Aztecs or Incas. Eventually I hope to do a New World supplement which would spell them out fairly explicitly, but in the interim, I think you would be okay adapting the character profiles.

Certainly I'd have to work up rules for slings. Bows and spears are in there already, and those Aztec clubs with the obsidian blades should count as Long Blades.

Sounds good, Pete! Maybe we're going to make such a game. How about the throwing spears, Foundry aztecs have some?

Spears can be thrown for Short range attacks. If you wanted to include the effects of an atlatl, it'll be treated as an upgrade to the Spear.

+1 Ability points for 6" extra range
+1 Ability points for +1 WS
+1 Ability points for 3 extra throwing spears
